Concierge medicine is a relationship based practice between the patient and their caregiver. Patients join the practice as members and the caregivers devote their time and medical expertise exclusively for those patients.
Does Zomnir Family Medicine accept health insurance or Medicare?
No, however most of our patients do have health insurance. You may use your insurance for labs, specialist visits, and imaging studies. Your medical care in our office is covered by your membership in our practice. We will not bill your insurance for our services.
Should I still have health insurance?
Yes. You need health insurance for the big things like cancer, heart attacks, and car wrecks. We encourage you to have a major medical plan.
Will I still benefit even if I don't go to the doctor often?
Absolutely! You will be able to text, e-mail, and call us as needed. Not all problems require a trip to the office, and we can often provide the care you need through a phone call, text or e-mail visit. We can help you avoid costly urgent care and ER visits, saving you thousands of dollars. Many of our patients have found great reassurance in the improved access to their provider. They are comfortable contacting us when needed, on their own schedule. We also facilitate care by speciality providers, labs, and imaging facilities so you don't have to navigate the medical system alone!
Can I use my FSA or HSA to pay for my membership fee?
Your membership fee covers medical office visits and services including an annual physical tailored to your needs. You may be able to use your FSA or HSA for your membership fee, however, we advise that you consult with your tax accountant.
